(I assumed people that love GW and that I meet in the game would be on that server lol).

Which EU server should I roll on? Theres too many

I was going to get a second 3870 first, but I would rather wait for the 4870's.

My updater buggered up so I am having to reinstall the game and download all the patches again lol.

Should have enough time to get that done.

I will roll on one of the PvP servers released on the 20th (or is it 23rd for EU?)

You'll be ganked plenty if you start the game on the normal release day on a PVP server since lots of people will have already leveled up.

I placed and cancelled a few extra Pre orders and got keys later for them lol - I placed two orders at Amazon and cancelled one a while back and the second one after I code my bow code. Today I got a second bow code even though both my orders were cancelled!

I placed and emailed to cancel an order at Gamestop, I got the mammoth key but it hasnt been cancelled yet ... If I end up getting i'll just ebay the US version in the UK since there are lots of people that like to play on the US servers.

I put my extra keys on Ebay, you dont want to know how much people are paying for them lol.

Two days ago I saw a mammoth key go over £21!

There'll be additional servers up on launch day. I'll probably end up waiting till 20th to play with friends on a launch server instead of an EA server so that we can level up together.

Only 30 minutes left now, but I wont be able to play for a few hours because I thought my installation was corrupt and reinstalled the client.

It turned out that the update server was down, so now I have to start again with 3 patches of 400, 700, and 400 Meg lol.

Well I don't know what happened but I'm downloading at a faster pace now. 85.9 KB/sec on average. Still slow for my normal internet speed but at least it's faster than the 37.2-45.9 I was averaging yesterday. If this keeps up I'll get to play tomorrow.

As far as communities go, GW is a lot better than most. Therefore if a community did ban together of AoC I would be among those who would want to join up.

Besides this is AoC not Diablo II as some people want it to be. I'm sure the rp PvP will be safe for new PvP players to get started up.

Hmm my other half's patcher got nuked while it was updating, so now he's got to re-install by the looks of it. I managed to as far as "up to date", but I quit out so I could give him my exe to see if that would work and now I can't get back on again.

Ho hum, to be expected I suppose.

[edit] w00t. I'm in, character creation done, hopefully my name will get saved before I get booted off...

I really wish I could afford the monthly costs. It seems like an awesome game. Been checking out the wiki for a bit (lol) and everything seems so... AWESOME.
